Twenty liberal and radical Milwaukee German societies joined in a rally against Hitlerism here, sponsored by the Antifascistische Aktion von Wisconsin, at Jefferson Hall.

German-American speakers at the meeting protested against the persecution of their own people by Nazi storm troopers in Germany. Attacks were levelled against the Hitler regime for its destruction of the trade unions, the suppression of democracy, and the confinement of Nazi opponents in concentration camps.
