The number includes 4,449 Jews, of whom 410 were immigrants entering in the capitalist classification which requires a cash fund of one thousand pounds and 32 were Jewish tourists who had their status legalized after arrival.

The number of tourists who were refused permission to remain permanently totaled 136.

The figures do not include Arabs who entered Palestine from Transjordania during the month, as there are no restrictions imposed on such immigration.
