A new government department to be known as the Central Statistical Bureau will be established here in the near future, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today.

Eric Mills, Acting Chief Secretary of the government of Palestine, who was superintendent of the 1931 Palestine census, will be appointed temporary director and organizer of the new bureau, it was learned on reliable authority.
