The disclosure that Armenians are of pure Aryan stock is made by Dr. Johannes von Leers, well-known for his anti-Semitic writings, in articles published by the Nazi press today. Dr. von Leers disavows the theory that Armenians and Jews are racially related.

“Justice must be done Armenians by not mixing them up with the Jews.” writes the theoretician.

The Armenian tongue, according to his disclosure, is a branch of Indo-German. He warns against anti-Armenian discrimination on the ground that they may have Jewish blood in their veins.

Ethnologists have done considerable research into the history of the Armenian racial origins. An intermixture of Assyrian and Hebrew elements in the 7th century B.C.E. made up the character of the Armenian people. They are essentially an Oriental people, resembling the Jews in their exclusiveness, widespread dispersion and remarkable tenacity of race.
