Ludwig Hollander, former attorney and director of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, has retired from active participation in the work of the Central Union in order to devote himself to writing a book on Jewish sociological problems in Germany.

In an article published in today’s issue of the C.V.-Zeitung, organ of the Central Union, Dr. Hollander calls upon the German Jews to become more Jewish, adding praise for Palestine and the Zionist movement. he sharply condemns the theory that the East European jews are responsible for the misfortunes that have overtaken German Jewry.

Dr. Hollander, a well-known German Jewish lawyer has since 1900 devoted himself, to a fight on anti-Semitism in Germany.
