GOLDBERG ON MIDDLE WEST ZIONIST TUR
Abraham Goldberg, Jewish writ er and Jounatist who is touring the middle west in the interests of the Zionist Organization of America, will speak in thirty-five cities. Dr. Solomon Goldman who is now in the far west.
”The membership campaign” said Morris Margulies, secretary of the Zionist Organization, ”is revealing gratifying results. There is already a one-third increase over the membership of the corresponding period of last year.”
CELEBRATE RABBI WISE’S SIXTIETH BIRTHDAY SOON
Plans for the celebration of the sixtieth birthday of Stephen S. Wise on March 17 are already under way. Intimate frinends and co-workers at the Free Synagogue and Institute have formed the ”Stephen S. Wise Sixteth Anniversary Committee.”
An anniversary service will be head at the Free Synagogue at Carnegie Hall, Harch 18, which the be followed by a luncheon at Bitmore Hotel. A fund is being raised by the committee which will be presented to Rabbi Wise for use in the activities with which he is most intimately associated.
ENDORSE TYDINGS RESOLUTION
The American palestine Jewish Legoin singned a petition to be sent to President Roosevelt urging the adoption of the Tydings resoluton. Telegrams will be sent to Senators Tydings, Pittman, Wagner and Copeland, by Harry B.
