Recent movements of troops in Palestine, reported on January 2, is in reality only the completion of the strength of the First Seaforth Highlanders, now stationed in Palestine, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today from reliable sources. The manouevre has no connection with present security conditions. The Seaforth Highlanders. The Seaforth Highlanders arrived in Palestine far below the normal strength of an infantry battalion, and the new men arrived in Palestine to make up the full battalion strength in accordance with the normal arrangements of the British War Office.
