John Gears, president of the Middlcsborougli Motor Club, a prominent English industrialist, today announced his resignation from the office as a protest against the recent decision of the club not to accept any mon Jewish members. Recently the Club rejected an application for membership signed b> a Jew, at first on.the ground that v. did not have the seconding of twe members and then on the ground that the club leaders thought six Jewish members enough.
