Abrams Leads in Tennis High School Quarter Finals

Joseph Abrams,star tennis player of DeWitt Clinton High School,was seeded No,1 in the interscholastic quarter-final matches played yesterday afternoon at the 369th Regiment Armoty,143rd Steet off Lenox Avenue.He defeated Robert Enrich, also of Clinton,by a score of 6-1,6-1.He will play in the semifinals this morning at 10 A.M.

Scores in other matches of the tournament were as follow: Marvin Kantrowitz,De Witt Clinton,beat Kenneth Wiener,Abraham Lincoln,6-3 6-2; Melvin Lapman,Evander Childs,beat Frank Farrell,Clinton,8-6,5-7,6-2;Henry Daniels,Bryant,beat James Reid,New Utrecht,6-2 6-0.

De Witt Clinton is thus assured its seveth title in the metropolitan indoor interscholastic tennis cham.
