German Jewry Presents Solid Front As Berlin Palestine Exhibition Opens

The entire Jewish population of Germany was represented at the opening of the Palestine exhibition today. The affair is regarded here as an important event in the history of the German Jews because even the Jewish community of Berlin and the all-German Jewish Representative body, usually opposed to Zionism, were represented at the opening.

Grectings to the exhibition were extended by Dr. Heinrich Stahl, director of the Berlin Jewish community. Dr. Stahl is an opponent of Zionism, but he wished the Zionist movement in Germany success Palestine labor was represented at the exhibition opening by Shkolnik, who declared that he spoke on behalf of all the Jewish communities in Palestine. He addressed the meeting in Hebrew. Dr. Arthur Lilienthal, formerly a high judicial official, spoke for the Representative Body, composing most of the Jewish organization in Germany.
