A sharp reproach of the World Union of Zionist Revisionists which recently began circulating a petition directed against British policy in Palestine, was made in a statement by the executive of the Jewish Agency. Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America, released the statement which in effect tells the Revisionists that the Jewish Agency is the only body responsible for the control of J, wish policy in regard to the Mandatory power over Palestine.
The statement declares that no organization other than the J. wish Agency has power to act politically with regard to Palestine, and adds that the Revisionist move is ???in defiance??? of the resolutions passed at the last Zionist Congress!
The Jewish Agency avers its intention of safeguarding the rights of the Jewish people with regard to Palestine, and asks that cooperation be given by all Jewish groups so that grogress in the development of Palestine may go forward.
???The contemplated indspendent action of the Revisionist Union,??? reads the statment, ???tends to undermine that policy and far from being of any real political value is prejudicial to the best interests of the Jewish National Home.
???The Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency are confident that Zionists and Jews generally will not be misled by empty gostures, and call upon them to continue their efforts for the upbuilding of Palestine.???
