Funeral services were held yesterday for Herman Epstein, 5130 Greenwood avenue, a retired real estate dealer. Burial took place at Wald-heim. Mr. Epstein was 65 years old. Formerly an officer of the South Side Hebrew Congregation, he had been active in synagogue and charity work. Surviving him are the widow Sarah, and four children, Ruth, Sophie, Bernard and Dr. Caspar M. Epstein.
