Professor Explains Rise of Hilterism

Speaking on “Some Reasons for the Triuph of the Nazi,” Paul C. Evans, professor of history at the University of Vermont, outlined to the Post Commanders’ School at Fort Ethan Allen, the historian’s point of view.

The rise of Nazi power, concluded Professor Evans, was not inevitable. A combiation of many forces working for the downfall of the Republic, he said, is the explanaiton of the unusual opportunity the Nazis found for taking control.
