A recital was given at the Century club this evening by Avrum Matthews and Lasar Galpern, as a preview of the pageant, The Romance of a people, to be shown at Convention Hall next Monday. Judge William M. Lewis will preside at the funetion.
Mona Morgan has been chosen for the roles of Queen Isabella in the pageant. The partrons of the event are Mr. And Mrs Jacob Loeb Langsdorf, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Rosenfeld, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kohn, Hadassah M. Leeds, S. S. Hels, Mr. and Mrs. Roland L. Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Sanuel Radbill.
