A dinner conference of the trade and membership council, money raising organization of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, was called yesterday for next Tuesday evening at six o’clock at the Unity Club, Bedford avenue and Dean street, Brooklyn.

Various matters in connection with the Federation’s twenty-fifth anniversary campaign, to be conducted in the spring to raise funds for the twenty-five constituent agencies, will be discussed at the meeting. Chairmen of the ninety-odd trade and professional groups composing the council and officers of the Federation will attend the gathering.

Samuel Salzman has accepted chairmanship of the trade and membership council for the third consecutive year, it was made known yesterday at Federation headquarters, 94 Clinton street. “We are preparing for a stronger campaign than ever this year,” Mr. Salzman said. “New recruits are being obtained for the council, additional groups are enlisting, and no effort will be spared to bring out every dollar available in Brooklyn for the benefit of the poor and needy thousands who appeal to the Federation for even the simplest of conveniences which are so urgently needed,as well as for medical attention, child care, and relief from the multitude of ills which constantly beset the destitute and suffering.”
