German authorities today prohibited the sirculation in Germany of the work of the well-known German Jewish writer,Joseph Kastein.
Among the works interdicted were “The Messiah of Ismir”and “Uriel Acosta.” No reason was assigned for the action by authorities.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
