Chile Jews Plan to Take Part in World Congress

A conference of all Jewish institutions of Chile will be held here shortly to plan elections for the World Jewish Congress to be held in Europe this summer. The conference has been called at the instance of the Zionist Federation of Chile.

A committee of five has been appointed to conduct democratic elections preparatory to sending a delegate to the congress. the same committee has also been instructed to call an all-Chilean consultation to discuss ways and means of establishing a sound system of social activities and to elect a body which would be the chief representative of Chilean Jewry.

The committee of five consists of Abraham Dropkin, Robert Levy, Gil Sinay, Menajem Aloni and Isaac Chame. The group has assigned special delegations to visit all provincial points and conduct the necessary work.
