A total of $12,500 was pledged for the United Talmud Torah campaign to raise $40,000 at the opening dinner at the Hebrew Educational Instate.
The United Talmud Torahs is the largest Jewish educational group in Canada, providing education to hundreds of children daily. They operate five schools and provide extensive courses for adults as well.
