Mormons of this city went unanimously on record as opposed to the Hitlerite oppression of German Jews, following a meeting in their church. Abraham Goldberg and Dr. B. W. Abramson made addresses.

Professor Russell of Ohio State University, introducing the speakers to the large audience, stressed the point that the Mormon Church, as a whole, is opposed to Hitlerism and is deeply interested in the Zionist movement. He pledged full support for the Palestine project.

At a meeting in the city’s largest synagogue, a celebration of Mr. Goldberg’s fiftieth birthday was held. He was presented with a gift in the name of the Columbus Zionist District. Progress in Palestine was discussed by Mr. Goldberg and Dr. Abramson.
