The proclamation issue dyesterday by General Sommers as president of the Austrian Jewish Ex-Soldiers Federation, demanding the restoration of the Hapsburg dynasty in Austria, has created great dissatisfaction among the Austrian Jews, who declare that the organization was created for the protection of Jewish interests and not to engage in political activity.

It has now become known that the Jewish veterans organization was completely divided on the question of restoration and that General Sommers resigned from the organization on issuing the proclamation.
