Professor F. Ernest Johnson, noted Christian educator, will be the Christian speaker at the symposium on “What Can the Synagogue do to Counteract Racial and Religious Prejudice?” which will be the principal subject at the Twenty-second Annual Convention of the United Synagogue of America, which will be held at the Willard Hotel. Washington, D. C., from May 6 to 8, according to an announcement issued by Louis Soil, chairman of the convention committee.
Professor Johnson is executive secretary of the department of research and education of the Federal Council of the Churches of Christ in America, and professor of education at Teachers’ College, Columbia University.
Mr. Soll also announced that the question of “Social Justice” will be discussed by Henry Braude of Philadelphia. Mr. Braude is chairman of the Philadelphia branch of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and formerly president of the Philadelphia Y.M.H.A.
