A series of ten mass meetings in various sections of Brooklyn sponsored by the Brooklyn Jewish Democracy, Inc., wound up last night at Public School 84, Glenmore and Stone avenues, Brooklyn.
The meetings were held in an effort to enroll 10,000 new members in the organization, of which Samuel Leibowitz is president.
The principal speaker at the gathering was Mr. Leibowitz, known for his defense of the nine Negro boys on trial in Scottsboro, Alabama.
