A $500 first prize for sketches chosen best in the mural art competition of the Riverside Memorial Chapel, Seventy-sixth street and Amsterdam avenue, has been won by John N. Sitton of 457 West Fifty-seventh street.
Charles Rosenthal, president of the Chapel, expressed praise of the paintings submitted.
