Nephew and Niece Left $20,000 Each in Will of Cowen

Jeffrey A. Stone of Elkins Park, Pa., and Blanche Landsman of Danbury, Conn., each inherits $20,000 under the will of Mark Cowen, uniform manufacturer, filed for probate in the Surrogate’s Court yesterday. The two, nephew and niece of Mr. Cowen’s late wife, were also left a life estate of one-half of the residuary estate.

Many charities benefit by the will. The sum of $500 is given to the Home for Aged and Infirm Hebrews, the New York Guild for the Jewish Blind, the New York Association for the Blind, the People’s Hospital and the Association for the Improvement and Instruction of Deaf Mutes.

A total of $7,000 in trust funds and donations is given to Congregation Shaareth Tefila, 158 West Eighty-second street.

Executors of the will are Jeffrey Stone, the Irving Trust Company and James P. Kelly of Bay Shore, L. I.
