Professor Felix Frankfurter of Harvard University has returned to Oxford following a visit to Palestine.
While in the Holy Land Professor Frankfurter inspected various factories and industrial enterprises, including the new seventy-five loom “Meshi” silk mill established by the Messrs. Sacks at Ramat Gan. The mill was transported from Paterson, New Jersey, to the Palestinian town with the aid of the New York and Tel Aviv bureaus of the American Economic Committee for Palestine.
The only comment Professor Frankfurter made on his return to Oxford was:
“I have not a thing to say. Sorry.”
Professor Frankfurter is occupying the Eastmen professorship at Oxford. He spent three weeks in Palestine.
