Wins High Honors at Long Island U.

Twenty-eight students received high scholastic honors at the commencement of the College of Arts and Sciences at Long Island University, Brooklyn, last night, among them Edward Settel, selected for more honors than any other graduate. Besides winning a Bachelor of Science cum laude, he was named for honors in chemistry, and was the recipient of both the Hartmann scholarship award and the Tau Delta Mu scholarship honor roll. He lives at 24 Crosby avenue, Brooklyn.

Sidney Reisberg was the only graduate to receive honors in two departments, philosophy and Germanic languages.

Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the Board of Aldermen, delivered one of the three commencement addresses.
