Junior Dance Successful

The sale of tickets to the marine sport dance held Saturday night by the Junior Federation of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities at the Half Moon Hotel, Coney Island, has been so successful that completion of the Juniors’ quota of $7,500 in the Brooklyn Federation’s $500,000 campaign is asured, it was declared yesterday by Samuel Weinberg, chairman of the event. More than $5,000 of the allotment has already been secured.

The dance was featured by stars in the amusement field, headed by Norman Brokenshire, master of ceremonies. There were also several bazaar features.

More than 400 women are cooperating with Miss Mary E. Dillon, chairman of the Ocean Front women’s division of the Federation in plans for a dance and bridge party Saturday night at the Half Moon Hotel in Coney Island. Proceeds will go towards the quota of the group in the campaign.
