Alderman John J, Glass, Liberal, who defeated E. F. Singer, Conservative, and two non-Jewish candidates after a lively election campaign. Glass will represent the St. Andrew’s Riding district of Toronto.

Croll, who was twice elected mayor of Windsor, where he is extremely popular for his liberalism, received 9,800 votes against 8,500 for all three of his opponents. There are only 1,000 Jews in Windsor.
