Losses of insurance companies from stonings by Nazis of windows of Jewish stores and homes in the Reich are such that the companies are making a public appeal declaring that Jews are not suffering from the stonings, since Germans are ultimately shouldering the burden of paying for the outrages, it was reported here.
Insurance companies state that Nazi shots are “hitting the wrong target.” Another case of “wrong targets” is reported in the Fraenkische Tageszeitung, which announces that the Nazi smoking public in Furth and Nuremberg is acting on the belief that it is buying “Aryan” tobacco. But, the newspaper continues, they are really allowing their money to flow into Jewish pockets.
Many tobacconists, the publication charges, are still making purchases from Jewish firms, and a warning is issued by the Hago, the Nazi trade association, that if the tobacconists do not alter their “evil” methods, their names will be published.
