Rabbi William B. Schwartz of Temple Israel, Lawrence, L. I., one of three rabbis recently elected to the board of governors of the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, received a gift from the two adult study groups at his temple, in recognition of his spiritual guidance during the past year. Sidney Strongin made the presentation. Isaac Joffe presided at the dinner which concluded the study groups’ season.
