Today’s issue of the anti-Semitic newspaper Le Patriote expresses jubilation over the “great victory of our race” resulting from the strike of hospital internes when a Jewish physician was named to the staff of a hospital.

The newspaper also threatens a strike of students at the French University here during the autumn session against admission of Jewish students, adding agitation which is now in progress to such a strike.

Le Patriote’s entire issue is devoted to the strike and includes bitter attacks against all the newspapers which praised the action of Dr. Sam Rabinovitch, the Jewish physician who was appointed and later voluntarily withdrew. Dr. Rabinovitch is an acknowledged specialist in diabetics, well known in the United States as well as in Canadian medical circles.
