The reduction in the amount of cash which emigrants are allowed to take out of Germany is entirely due to the boycott of German goods, German officials declared.
The boycott was the principal subject of addresses made by three leading Nazi cabinet members. Minister of Economics Dr. Kurt Schmitt, Foreign Minister Baron Constantine von Neurath and Rudolf Hess, confidential assistant to Adolf Hitler, declared at three mass meetings that if the boycott against Germany continues, Germany will be forced to shut out all foreign goods.
