A pitiful sight was revealed today when Jewish refugees, who were forcibly removed from Turkish frontier zones by virtue of a law forbidding all but “purely Turkish elements” to live in frontier regions, reached the Greek station of Orestiada on the way to Istanbul, where they are being taken.
Three Jewish children are dead as the result of the hardships of the march. Many are ill and it is feared others will die before the### reach Istanbul.
