In commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of the death of Theodor Herzl, the Executive of the World Zionist Organization announced it is issuing a new edition of his historic pamphlet, “The Jewish State,” in English.
The original translation by Sylvie d’Avigdor has been carefully compared with the German text and thoroughly revised by Israel Cohen, who has also written a foreword for the new edition. The booklet will be published by the Central Office of the Zionist Organization.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
