Announcement was made here yesterday that Congressman Samuel Dickstein will be principal speaker and guest of honor at Jewish Day at the World’s Fair in Chicago. Jewish Day will be celebrated July 29.

Dickstein was undecided yesterday as to whether or not he would go to Chicago. If he does not attend personally, his speech will be brought by remote control from New York, according to word from his office.

The congressman has been occupied with evidence on Nazi affairs gained by the Special Congressional Committee to Investigate Un-American Activities, of which he is chairman. It is understood that the committee is now putting into shape for further investigation the testimony taken during hearings in Washington and New York.

Next open hearings by the committee will be held in California. Special investigators are now on the West Coast studying conditions, particularly the participation of Nazis, Fascists and Communists in the recent general strikes along the coast. The strikes are understood to have delayed the open hearings, which were to have been held early in August.
