That the victory of the reactionaries in Germany during the reign of terror means an outbreak in Europe without any warning is the belief expressed by Miriam Beard in an article, “Hitler: Puppet of the War Lords,” appearing in today’s issue of the magazine Today.

She declares “a threat is thus presented to Europe. Had Roehm, Schleicher, Ernst Strasser, Heines and the others lived, and won, the German masses would have been armed; they would have been slow to mobilize, but indomitable when aroused.
