Jewish pogroms in Czarist Russia were compared to Negro lynchings in “Imperialist United States” by Merrill C. Work, editor of the “Negro Liberator,” who addressed about fifty members and guests of the Columbia University World Problems Club at a special meeting to protest against Negro discrimination.
