Godol Bart, 118 years old, said to be the world’s oldest living Jew. died on Wednesday in Knoxville, Tenn., according to reports received here Friday. Mr. Bart was living at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. Goldstein, 1302 Fifth avenue, Knoxville. Up until the last few days of his life the aged man enjoyed the best of health and was fond of reading the Yiddish newspapers, reports stated.

Mr. Bart was born in Tchecnovy, Poland, in 1816. He lived there most of his life, coming to the United States in 1912, at the age of 96.

Besides Mrs. Goldstein, he is survived by a son, Morris, and by two other daughters, Mrs. M. Goodstein of New York and Mrs. Shapiro of Newark, N. J.
