A delegation of the Agudath Israel, composed of H. A. Goodman, chairman, and Rabbis Dr. Schonfeld and Twerski, expressed today to Count Skirmunt, the Polish ambassador in London, the gratitude that orthodox Jewry in this country felt at the continued sympathy which he had at all times shown in Jewish affairs. The occasion was the announcement that Count Skirmunt was to retire from his position at the end of the month.

Count Skirmunt told the delegation that the Polish Government would do its best for the amelioration of the situation of its Jewish citizens.
