Three prominent Jewish professors of the University of Vienna were dismissed today.
Professor Heinrich Joseph, zoologist, Professor Robert Arnold, historian, and Heinrich Pollak, chemist, all over sixty years of age, were dismissed, allegedly in order to make room for younger men, but in reality because the Austrian government is confining the dismissals to Jewish professors and those known to be sympathetic to the Nazis.
