An announcement in the local press that Prof. Alexander Cuza and his son are on their way to Berlin to visit Adolf Hitler has created something akin to consternation in the Jewish community here.

The fear is expressed in many quarters that the Berlin visit of the Cuzas, notorious anti-Semites and leaders of the violently anti-Semitic Iron Guard party, will be followed upon their return by a new campaign against Rumanian Jews.
