organization with the same rights, privileges and duties as the old members from the moment this decision has been rendered, subject, however to the following:

“Their members shall pass an examination for their religious qualifications to be shochtim.

“The religious examination is to be held by a board of examiners composed of Rabbi M. Rosen, Rabbi R. Barishansky and a third rabbi to be selected by the other two, and two shochtim, one to be selected by the present Local 440 and the other by the present Vaad Shochtim Oifes.

“This examination shall be completed within two weeks.

SECOND CALL ON JOBS

“3. The present membership of the Vaad Shochtim Oifes (except those who will be rejected by the Rabbinical Board of Examiners) are to be entitled to employment after the present membership of the Agudas Shochtim Local 440 shall have obtained employment.

“4. No member of the present Vaad Shochtim Oifes shall be entitled to unemployment benefit or relief until such time as he has obtained a job and has contributed to the Unemployment Fund for at least three months and conformed to the rules of the union.

“5. Upon the Vaad Shochtim Oifes joining the Agudas Local 440, the former shall by resolution dissolve immediately.

“6. The executive committee of Agudas Local 440 shall be increased by two members of the Vaad Shochtim Oifes.

“7. The arbitration board shall stand in effect until Sept. 1, 1937, as a board of appeal.”
