Charles Haskell Gevirtz, recently elected cantor of the Congregation Sons of Israel of Woodmere, will officiate at High Holy Days services in the new building at Irving place, it was announced today.
The new synagogue and community center will serve the Jews of Woodmere and Hewlett.
