Registration by the government of all aliens, so as to weed out “undesirables,” was urged here by Jacob Beuscher, leader in the Steuben society and other German organizations, in an address to the Republican club.

Beuscher demanded that the government deport aliens whose records show them to be “enemies of this country.” Beuscher is known as a member of the highly conservative faction of Germans here.
