Expansion of the Dead Sea project was forecast yesterday by Israel B. Brodie, chairman of the board of directors of the Palestine Potash Company. Mr. Brodie returned aboard the Paris from a meeting of the board in London.

“Things are very encouraging,” he declared, “and we intend to expand our work. We plan to enlarge the plant, which will result in a substantial increase in employment.”

“We are now proceeding to the development of the south end of the Dead Sea,” he said, but declined to reveal further details at this time. Mr. Brodie is also president of the American Economic Committee for Palestine.
