The Mexican “pro-race committee,” which is sponsoring the Green Shirt shock troops of the Mexican Legion, a new anti-Semitic organization, today published the first number of an anti-Jewish weekly, Patria. A newspaper of Mexicans.

The entire contents of the weekly are devoted to attacks on Jews and Chinese, particularly against the Jews. The newspaper is edited by Jose Angel Espinoza, head of the Mexican Legion, who declares in an introductory editorial that “every Mexican is to a greater or lesser extent the victim of the financial power of local or world Judaism.”

In the meantime, the Golden Shirts, another anti-Semitic organization, opened a number of district offices all over the city, one of which is in the heart of the Jewish commercial district. Members of the organization recently appeared on parade armed with heavy clubs.
