The second United States Congress Against War and Fascism met and denounced Nazism and Fascism, specifically condemning the Hitleriate persecution of the Jews. More than 3,500 delegates from the United States and fraternal delegations from all over the world attended the congress.

The sessions of the congress were devoted to reports of anti-Fascist and anti-militarist activities and to formulating plans for future actions. The Youth Congress Against War and Fascism was held here at the same time, attracting a wide attendance from youth organizations.
