Sees Three Dimensions to Jewish History

“Jewish history is tri-dimensional, having great length, world width and true intellectual and spiritual depth,” declared Dr. Abraham L. Sacher, University of Illinois historian, before several hundred at the Rodef Sholem Temple.

Sacher, who was brought here by the Council of Jewish Women, said that notable Jewish personages from Jeremiah to Disraeli wore the garb of martyr or genius, charlatan or rascal, each according to his record.
