A huge tract of land in Palestine, described as of even greater value for Jewish colonization purposes than the fertile Emek, has been acquired by the Jewish National Fund (Keren Kayemeth). Title transfer of the land to Jewish ownership has already been approved by the Colonial Office, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency authoritatively learned today. The name and exact location of the tract are being withheld for the time being because of Palestine internal conditions.
The new tract consists of extremely fertile land with an abundant water supply available without the necessity for extensive and costly irrigation projects to make it habitable. Preparations to improve this tract for immediate settlement and colonization will be commenced shortly.
