Joe Hornstein has been elevated to the presidency of the Quebec branch of the Amateur Athletic Union of Canada, following his occupancy of the office of vice-president for two years.

Max Berger, 112-pound boxing champion of the Dominion, will be placed in nomination before the A.A.U. as a candidate for the Norton H. Crowe Trophy, given annually to Canada’s best athlete. The Jewish pugilist was a member of the Empire team at London this summer.
